Life Update

So I am horrible at keeping up with this blog! I need to get in a routine of regularly posting...maybe...if I can motivate myself. Anyways, life at the Franks household has been interesting this past month. Jason's parents both had surgery and he has been busy helping his dad run his business. In a week my dad had a heart attack, got out of the hospital to go back in a day later, then find out he had to have double bypass surgery! Praise the Lord that my dad is alive and is at home recovery from his surgery!!!! It is so hard to see your dad go through that, but I know he is going to be a better man from it all...and hopefully a lot skinner too!:)

Brantley is now 6 months old! He is such a big boy that is growing up too fast. But I am very excited about all the milestones we have ahead. He is now eating solid foods and loves everything he eats. He wants any food that I am eating but he has a little growing to do before he gets to try grown up food. He can sit up all by himself and I couldn't be more proud! He DESPERATELY wants to crawl but can't seem to figure it out. He is so close though...any day now he will just take off...just please don't do it at the sitter's first!! Here are some pictures that my fabulous friend Jenna took of him a month or two ago.

He LOVES his hands. They are his favorite toy!

I am in love with those blue eyes!!

He is officially a thumb sucker...hopefully it won't be hard to break...(yeah right).
Oh, and a toe sucker...
Love it and love him! Such and incredible joy :)!!

Christmas...a little late

Here are some pictures from our first Christmas as a family of 3. We celebrated Christmas morning with Jason's side of the family, then my family came to our house Christmas afternoon for dinner.

Brantley with his Aunty Andrea! Really wish I could see her more. But at least she lives in an excellent city to visit :).

Uncle Jeremy

Brantley got the most gifts out of everyone! He was excited!

He actually grabbed the paper and ripped it...then it went to his mouth.

He liked his gifts!

The pajama crew. It's a tradition in my family.

Unfortunately, all my pictures from Christmas with the Franks are on my camera and I can't find the cord to upload them! But Brantley had a great Christmas there as well! I do have some pictures of him playing with some of his toys Nana and Poppy got him.

He loves the music this giraffe plays!

This is the coolest toy ever! This picture only shows a part of it. This train has a round track that he can ride it on. He looks like such a big boy in this picture! He was able to sit on it all by himself. I can see him riding this train all day once he gets a little bigger.
